Heya! I’m a Canadian wavy-girl, and in 2019 I found myself with a nasty concussion and WAY too much time on my hands.
Between that and the subsequent lockdowns, at 28 years old I attempted my first “wavy wash day”. The results were *DiSaPpOiNtInG* to say the least(lol), but my curiosity was OFFICIALLY peaked. Iphone in hand, I started combing social media for help, and eventually started sharing some of what I learned along the way. I never could have imagined the community I would find – I’m so in love with this amazing family 160k+ folks across Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube who is learning to embrace their hair alongside me!

What started out as a way to kill time has turned into an absolute PASSION for helping people embrace the parts of themselves that they have always thought of as ‘difficult’, or ‘different’. Falling in love with my hair has been such an important part of my own healing journey, and I can’t wait to help you do the same.
I have two GORGEOUS but extremely spoiled and (sometimes) delinquent puppers – Rori the bulldog and Sterling the mastiff who love to make cameos in my content. Feel free to say hi to them if you can spot them in the back of a video – they HATE to be ignored!!
In 2023 I am starting my hairstyling apprenticeship to be able to expand my knowledge beyond just my own hair type, and I couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait to bring you on this journey with me!
